I believe effective design catalyses the designer’s thoughts and ideas while also communicating with intent.

The designers who interests me the most have more to contribute than just aesthetic value alone. Rack Rent is an experiment in editorial design. The content is similar to what I would typically post on social media; photo albums, opinions, sharing content - and elevating these elements using design principles found commonly in traditional media (utilisation of a grid, studio photography and long form articles). It combines my interest in editorial design with my fervent skepticism towards social media.
