My hope for this project was to inspire readers to consider unique theories of where the story is headed...

Concept art was the motivation for my project. My adoration for storytelling and everything imaginative led me to create this piece – designing characters, landscapes and creatures, as well as a short story to compliment the potential these assets have. Although this project focused heavily on concepts rather than a definitive story, my love for visual storytelling may prompt me to return to these characters – animation and illustration are both mediums that I am passionate about and had in mind when developing each element.

My hope for this project was to inspire readers to consider unique theories of where the story is headed – and in doing so utilizing the impact concept art can really have – inspiration through the visual representation of an idea.
