Stitch 'N' Sew
The brand strives for gender equality and encourages young people to be introduced to a self-expressive hobby.
My purpose behind Stitch ‘N’ Sew was to explore a brand identity for a small business wishing to introduce young men and women into embroidery as a hobby by selling embroidered patches, shirts and embroidery kits that allow them to learn how to sew. I wanted the brand to invite men into embroidery and exclude the sexist history behind the craft, traditionally known as a woman’s hobby. The brand strives for gender equality and encourages young people to be introduced to a self-expressive hobby.
